The Foundation was set up by three friends who believe that the sooner we support children in learning to think critically, the better equipped they will be to face the world.
Felicia is a writer and entrepreneur who is also P4C trained. She holds a Ba(Hons) in Philosophy and Theology and an MA (Comm) in Theology from Bristol University, as well as an MSc (Dist.) in Global Energy and Climate Policy from the School for Oriental and African Studies - where she is now a Teaching Fellow. She has over twenty years experience in research, media and communications and, focused on issues around sustainability, climate change and social justice, believes that the education of children is the best long term solution to global change.
Virginia is the mother of two very curious children who were the reason she started writing children’s philosophy books. She has a degree in History from Cambridge and a Masters in Chinese Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies. Her first career was in Public Relations and she was on the Board of Hill & Knowlton UK and ran her own PR business. She has also been an Adjunct Professor for the Newhouse School at Syracuse University and is P4C trained.
Rhian, mother of two more curious explorers, is P4C trained and a talented artist. She holds a BA (Hons) in French, Spanish, as well as an MA in French translation and worked for many years in the fashion industry. Having studied philosophy, she believes that learning to think critically, independent and compassionately helps equip children to face challenges and make a positive impact on the world. She has lived, studied and worked in Trinidad and Tobago, Ecuador, Paris, New York and London.
